Attended a rehearsal dinner for my niece's nuptials.. great food, prompt, friendly service, and nice atmosphere. A bit loud though, and bathroom facilities were oddly placed and not really adequate for the crowd. Overall, a nice place. Parking was a pain.

Our family came here for Saturday brunch and had a phenomenal experience. My husband and I both ordered omelets and they were packed with flavor and didn’t skimp on the meat and veggies! The home fries may have been the best I’ve ever had and were perfectly seasoned and crispy. My son’s French toast was light and fluffy and he loved it! Would absolutely recommend coming here for brunch! Service, food and atmosphere were all great!

Wish I could give this a bazillion stars! We have always loved Metro but tonight they went above and beyond. I have been diagnosed with some health issues recently and eating out has been very stressful. Chris and Oscar were so super patient and informative to make sure my husband and I had a great meal that would fit into my new restrictions. I cannot say enough good things about how well they treated us. I was so worried about being a pain in the butt, but they were just so kind and accommodating. Left a decent tip but wanted to make sure Chris and Oscar got kudos on here too!!!!

I had the delight of dining in on a Saturday afternoon for their brunch menu. I ordered the avocado toast. The whole wheat bread was perfectly toasted and the eggs were cooked to a beautiful over medium. The avocado, cherry tomatoes and basil were so fresh and the balsamic reduction brought the whole dish together. You get a choice of home fries, grits or fruit and I went with the home fries and they were so good. The potatoes were fork tender and had just the right amount of crispiness. Not overly seasoned and tasted amazing dipped into the yolk of the egg. The staff were an absolute delight and were happy to offer recommendations on dishes. Our bellies were happy and our glasses stayed full. Will definitely be dining there again.

We celebrated our daughter's college graduation with a brunch/luncheon using the rooftop space this past Sunday and the experience was a solid 5 stars! Communicating with Tom via email and phone prior to the event made the planning a piece of cake (which reminds me that you are allowed to bring in a celebratory cake of your own). We were able to customize a brunch menu and Christian, the attending bartender, made the food and beverage service run very smoothly. Our guests were as pleased as we were during our special day. The food, service and venue all exceeded our hopes for the day. Thank you Metropolitan team for a job well done.

Great dinner in Annapolis. Cozy restaurant with a lively (yet not too loud) bar area. Heard there was a rooftop area but it was too cold for our evening. Had a wonderful sample of six of their apps, and the five of us each had a main. Was a solid meal for food, service was attentive, even the manager came to welcome us and check in. I have family in the area, and they agreed it is a terrific spot as they frequent this establishment. Would definitely recommend it!

I hosted my rehearsal dinner and welcome party here and could not be happier with my decision. I reached out to a couple restaurants to see where I could host the dinner and Metropolitan Kitchen was hands down one of the best values in terms of price and what you get. They provided a great buffet selection, tables, linens, and decor on the second floor where we hosted the rehearsal (honestly you could host a small wedding there). Then we were able to host our welcome party for the rest of the night on the third floor, which includes the rooftop. The rooftop worked out great because they also had heaters. They were flexible on how I wanted to handle the open bar vs. cash bar. All that to say, I’d definitely recommend them for any event you’re hosting and working with Tom was so easy. Even the wedding after party that was using the remainder of their restaurant seemed to be having a great time.

As I sit here finishing my meal with a friend, we're both reflecting on how great everything has been during our visit to this restaurant, which we chose to celebrate her birthday. From the food to the service to the overall atmosphere, it has been an exceptional experience. Food & Drink: We sampled a variety of dishes, including the charcuterie board, Brussels sprouts, miso-glazed salmon, lamb lollipops, and a spinach salad. Every dish was flavorful and cooked to perfection – we genuinely had no complaints. The drinks were equally impressive, with each one being well-balanced and delicious. Service: Kim, our server, was outstanding. She was attentive, patient with our questions, and provided thoughtful recommendations that made our experience even better. Chris also stopped by to check on us several times, which added a nice touch of care to our meal. Atmosphere: The restaurant had a charming vibe, and the music was just right. It was loud enough to set the mood but quiet enough for us to carry on our conversation without any trouble. All in all, it was a wonderful experience, and we’ll definitely be coming back again to check out the rooftop!
